Friday is day 2 and our last day of Hula & Craft Workshops. By the end of the workshop day, our participants have had the opportunity to take up to four (4) 2.5 hour workshops. Workshop attendees often leave the workshop feeling exhilarated and ready to share all their learnings with the public the next day at Hō'ike.

After the last day of workshops, our festival makes its way to Esther Short Park in Downtown Vancouver. 4 Days of Aloha festivities in the park kick off on Friday evening with our Hapa Haole Hula Competition. The evening begins with beautiful live Hawaiian music for everyone to enjoy. Our featured Kumu Hula are tasked with judging hālau hula that travel from all over to compete in both group and solo categories.
