11:00am- 12:00pm: Rainier Youth Choir
The Rainier Youth Choir believes in changing children’s lives through song. Celebrating their 25th season, the choirs consist of a diverse group of singers ranging from 2nd to 12th grade.
12:00pm: Arrival of Santa!
Meet us on Front Street as a cast of Christmas characters – including Father Christmas, Santa and Mrs. Claus – march from the Festhalle to the Gazebo with all the pomp & circumstance necessary to kick-off the festivities! Participate in this weekend’s theme by dressing in red and green! Meet up at the Festhalle (1001 Front St) at 11:45am to be in the Santa Claus processional!
12:00pm-1:00pm: Northern Sound Choir
Northern Sound Choirs presents "Sonus Boreal," Snohomish County’s premiere women’s choir, accompanied by Laurie Breon and directed by Stuart Hunt. The choirs are dedicated to performing quality choral music and advocating for quality fine arts curriculum in public schools.
1:00pm-2:00pm: General 7’s Dixieland Band
This detachment of the 133rd Army National Guard Band is the number one ranked National Guard band in the United States. As musical ambassadors, they perform all over the state.
2:00pm -3:00pm: Joe Fina Four Sax Quartet
The Joe Fina Four is a saxophone quartet based in Monroe, WA. The quartet plays music from all genres, but mainly focuses on jazz and swing.
3:00pm -4:00pm: Northern Sound Choir
The Bellevue Youth Choir offers unmatched musicianship training, inspired performances, and a joyful, spirited community of girls and boys ages 8-18. The choirs have performed on KOMO TV for the Miracle Season, benefiting Children’s Hospital and the Heart of the Valley Choir Festival.
4:00pm -6:00pm: Village Voices
Leavenworth Village Voices is celebrating 33 years as a community chorus. They provide the opportunity for members to sing in a professionally directed mixed chorus.
4:30pm: Christmas Lighting Ceremony!
Traditional alphorns kick-off the parade of stars & bells and the lighting of the Christmas Tree. Santa and a few local celebrities will lead the countdown to the lighting of the town and park with over half a million lights! This is the moment we ‘ve all been waiting for!
6:00pm-6:30pm: Leavenworth Alphorns
The evening serenade is followed by a brief demonstration with information and fun facts about this fascinating alpine folk instrument.
