Jaku By Shogo Ota

Thursday, Jun 1, 2023 from 10:00am to 7:00pm
Seattle Japanese Garden
1075 Lake Washington Boulevard East
206-684-4725

Jaku highlights all the living organisms and creatures that quietly coexist within the Japanese Garden.

Despite Ota’s work often being on the opposite side of quiet, the collection reflects on Ota’s desire, as a Japanese artist, to live and create quaintly beyond time and place.

Admission is free all day on April 6th for our Free First Thursday.

Meet the artist from 4pm - 5:45pm during the opening reception and get the first look at this intriguing exhibit.

Jaku will be on display in the Tateuchi Community Room till the end of June.

Final entry to the garden is 45 minutes before closing.
