Halloween is all about the spooky, the scary, and the eerie. And one of the best ways to celebrate that is by paying a visit to one of the many haunted houses, farms, and factories in Washington. Whether you’re staving off a zombie attack or being chased by killer clowns, you’re sure in for a fright at our favorite haunted attractions in the state.
When the goal of a haunted attraction is to make you lose control of your bladder, you know you’re in for a fun night. The Zombie Asylum Haunted House is Bellingham’s craziest and scariest place to be this Halloween. Get ready to be scared as you slip into the dark world of the undead. Better not come alone. Bring a friend. You can always make them go first.
Do you have what it takes to get through the haunted swamp at Carleton’s Fright Farm? Look out for the zombies on the prowl and hear the screams in the infested cornfield. Take a ride on the hay wagon in the dark and be the first to shoot the zombies with your paintball gun. Better watch out for the deadly swamp, though. It’s been the reason some people are never seen again.

You’re invited to dinner at Ma’s Farmhouse, but beware. This is not your average family meal. You’re the main course at this disgusting, demented, and dark dinner table. If you’re not up to being on the menu for the night, check out the Dark Legends of New Orleans for a trip back in history to a time when getting pinned wasn’t something you enjoyed. The Cinema of Horrors is home to both of these attractions, considered the scariest in the state.
The zombies are coming! The zombies are coming! The events at the Fright Factory in Buckley are so intense, you better wear your running shoes for a fast getaway. Groups are welcome, concessions are available, and porta potties are on site for those with weak bladders. No reservations are necessary since this is a first come, first scare haunted attraction.
Once a thriving business doing funeral preparations and human and animal cremations, the Georgetown Morgue holds a deep secret beneath the bloody floorboards. Two former employees, Rigor and Mortis, have been hiding out all these years, but have suddenly been seen lurking around. Be very careful as you wander through the morgue, and be prepared for the fright of your life.

Ready to “dig up” a little fun this Halloween? Visit Nile Nightmares Haunted House where you’ll have your choice of things that will scare and delight you. Watch out that you don’t become the next victim of the Pharaoh in The Curse of the Nile. If you make it past his tomb, there’s a cell in the Ballinger Asylum just waiting for you. You’ll face your greatest fears as you try to make it through the Ballinger Cemetery, and watch out for the clowns along the way at Clown Town Revival.
If you’re looking for the ultimate in haunted house adventures, it’s time to go to the Seattle Scream Park where you’ll scream the night away. Bring your friends and come experience the horror at one of city’s best and most popular Halloween attractions.
Thomas Family Farm is a friendly community farm by day, but something much more sinister by night. Do you have what it takes to survive the zombie apocalypse? Better arm yourself with plenty of paint balls as you ride through the cornfield under the cover of darkness. You never know what might pop up along the way. Dare to enter The Nightmare on 9 Haunted House. You’re not afraid of a little clown, are you?

You’ve heard of Sleepy Hollow, but odds are you’ve never experienced anything like Creepy Hallow. The secret of this scary but family-friendly attraction is that they know everyone is afraid of something. It could be the clown lurking behind the corner of the barn. It might be running through the woods being chased by some unknown creature. Whatever scares the socks off you, you’ll probably find it here.
Ready to meet some new friends? Chuck the Butcher, Suzie the Twisted, and Eski, the True Elder are waiting for you at Stalker Farms in Snohomish. This is not a place for the timid. Or for those with weak bladders. Or those who are satisfied with fake blood, bad makeup, and people dressed up like the undead. This is intense. And by the way, they don’t give refunds if you can’t make it through or have nightmares for a while after visiting. Just sayin’.
