To nurture the spirit of our youth by offering education and development of life skills through the creative process of performing arts. And to embrace the diversity of our communities and reach out to those undeserved and at risk.

About Us:

META Performing Arts (formerly known as Northwest Children's Theatre) is the exciting home of theater arts for youth of the Skagit Valley and surrounding areas of northwest Washington state. We offer live theater performances for children and teenagers a summer performing arts camp and classes year round. The Story Project, an outreach program for undeserved populations works to preserve the rich cultural and historical heritage of the rural Skagit Valley by working with the multicultural community to choose and develop traditional stories and legends for the theater.
