Mission Statement

Pierce County Fair is an outstanding, traditional county fair that showcases the skills and talents of our diverse community through education and experiences.

Vision

It is our vision to be the greatest county fair in Washington State. Each year we continue to offer unique experiences on our fairgrounds, as we encourage patrons to see and participate in our rich heritage. We are proud of our long-standing presence in Pierce County, since 1947.

Goals & Objectives
To offer character training through wholesome participation, competition, cooperation and accomplishment.
To educate youth and adults in better methods.
To improve the relations between urban and rural people.
To provide social contacts.
To help build community pride.
To provide wholesome competition of various types.
To offer recreation and amusement through promotion of carnivals, contests and competition.
To encourage trade.
To present the products of the farm, home and family.
To provide recognition to 4-H, FFA, open show exhibitors and leaders.
To further education by exhibiting, judging and demonstrating.
To promote 4-H and FFA in Pierce County.
