If you skate or snowboard, Joey and Crew are the best in the valley bar none.

Though its great to have a local skateshop, they've never been supportive of longboarding and a supporter of theirs and longtime representative of the shop even told me that it was a fad like Kendama toys- putting not only longboarding down, but Kendama, a toy that they also sell a lot of. One of the shop owners was also incredibly rude to me at a snowboard contest they sponsored and a bully who was just trying to start a fight (& made a 40 year old woman cry) because I'd previously criticized his shop. Its very unfortunate that these people couldn't be more supportive of actual snowboarders and skateboarders in the valley all these years, but I certainly wouldn't support them after the way they treated me after being a local and one of the few females who has skateboarded and snowboarded over a 1/4 of a century. When we were kids me and the shop owner Joey McGuire used to compete in the same snowboarding competitions together and I even gave him and his buddies rides home when he was too young to drive. For shame! Guess someone got it all though! Most of the times I've been to this shop throughout the years it is Joey's mother (who doesn't skate) who is behind the counter and keeping the shop open which is tough- because she DOESN'T SKATE or snowboard, though she's very supportive of others as women typically are. I'm sorry Mom to leave this review for you as I know you do work hard, but your son has to grow up sometime! I'd love to support local businesses who also support local riders and events (including longboarding), but unfortunately this isn't one of them.
