Mission Statement:

SFIT is the national leader in festivals of Improvisational theater. This festival showcases the best artistry in the nation, and pushes the boundaries of what is possible in this art form. SFIT also galvanizes the Pacific Northwest community, and establishes Seattle and JCI as the center of the artistic hub of Improv in America.

The Seattle Festival of Improvisational Theater (SFIT) strives to:

- Serve our audiences with the highest quality and variety of performances possible.

- Educate the audience as to the depth and variety of improvisational theater that is being currently produced.

- Provide the highest quality performing and teaching experience for our attending improv professionals.

- Provide opportunities for growth and networking to all participants.

About the Festival:

Each SFIT includes:
-A tremendous variety of improv shows at two venues over 5 days
-A variety of weekend improv workshops taught by instructors from around the continent
-Improv masterclasses
-Parties, parties, parties
-The Dust-Up (our answer to the typical festival "improv jam")
