Established in 1998, Sorensen Cellars is a small family winery dedicated to the limited production of premium wines at affordable pricing.Great wines are made from outstanding grapes. Our philosophy at Sorensen Cellars is to seek out the superior vineyards in Washington State.Soils, sub-soils, drainage, the orientation of the vineyards to the sun, climate, all of these factors along with smart vineyard management contribute to the production of exceptional fruit.
At Sorensen Cellars we age our wines in French Oak Barrels, imparting character and structure yet aiming for balance, allowing the natural fruit characters to dominate the wine. Blending wines is a craft unto itself. We take great pride in selecting the wines used to create a single varietal or using several varietals to create a blend.We offer two labels, Sorensen, being our premium label, and Townsend Bay oriented towards fun and value.
