Veterans Memorial Museum

100 SouthWest Veterans Way

Our mission is to honor, and perpetuate the memory of the service men and women who have served in our nation's armed forces down through the history of our country during peacetime or war.

The mission of the museum began over a decade ago with the goal of making sure that our veterans "Shall Not Be Forgotten". The museum began with humble beginnings in 1997 at a storefront and in 2005 we opened our new facility visible from Interstate 5 just off of exit 77. The museum features a 9,000 square feet main gallery with 85 display cases and hundreds of displays honoring our veterans. The museum features a military history reference library with thousands of volumes. There is also a gift shop and a "USO" where you can come and enjoy a cup of coffee and some conversations with our local veterans.

Always like a good Veterans Memorial Museum, especially when they have a cobra attack helicopter on a pole out front. This is a place dedicated to the men and women who fought for this country from the start of it to the present day war on terrorism. Plenty of visual displays to see, learn and enjoy from this nations military, all displayed in a easy to follow layout.

Absolutely loved this museum. My 7 year old did wonderful and we enjoyed seeing the different uniforms and weapons through the ages. My 2 year old did not do well, so I'll not be bringing him again until he's older. I look forward to coming again to be able to read the memorabilia on display and spend more time looking.

I adore this museum, and enjoy going back a few times a year. Clean and not cluttered which i love! If you're intetested in listening to some amazing stories told by heroic veterans look no further than the USO corner.
